hearing tests
we know it is possible to take an online hearing test, but we feel there is no substitute for a comprehensive face to face (safe) assessment we feel it is the only way to ensure accuracy & is the foundation of any fitting of hearing aids. as well as testing how well you hear sounds (needed to create your prescription) we also test how well you process speech to see what level of hearing aid technology is appropriate for you and to see if you benefit from any additional assistive listening devices. available in branch or as a home visit.
ear wax removal
we know how frustrating it can be to have a blocked ear so rather than wait possibly 6 months + for an NHS referral for earwax removal we pride ourselves in a quick turnaround. in our experience softening the wax with earol can be the key factor when preparing for a visit branch or home visit. (link to our youtube video about earol further down the page) for years we have been recommended by many local gp’s and pharmacies pricing from only £39 including a complimentary hearing screen. a free £0 ear examination service is available if you are not sure if you have a blocked ear. missed/canceled within 24hrs £25 charge
